Your hostess, which is the owner, will make you feel welcome and assist you with planning your activities.
Tsitsikamma is a Khoi/Nama word meaning 'place of abundant water. The region is bordered at the north by the Tsitsikamma Mountains and in the south by the Indian Ocean. The village is surrounded by natural accuring indigenous forest, Fynbos and commercial plantations. The Storms River Mouth, with its spectacular shore line in the Tsitsikamma National Park and which is also the start of the famous Otter Hiking Trail, is only 10 km away. This area hosts a number of other hiking trails and also boat rides.
After an exciting day in nature, relax on our veranda in summer or in front of a cosy log fire with a steamy hot chocolate or a glass of red in winter. Or feel the sun on your skin at our private swimming pool.
"We thoroughly enjoyed the stay , and would recommend the guest lodge."
"Friendly, and good neat and clean facilities. Homely feel, and the 'honesty bar', where you can take a beverage from a well stocked fridge, and write down what was selected and room nr, a very nice touch."
"Not ideal having a room so close to the breakfast area as you can hear all the plates first thing in the morning."
"Beautiful area, great breakfast, modest.Great hosts-made one feel at home"
"Loved the relaxed atmosphere, also the abundance of hot water was an absolute joy."
"Nice place at Storms River, very hospitable couple, always helpful with good advices. Gave us the best room with a view- so no reasons to complain. Good breakfast"
"The lodge is lovely - tastefully furnished, very spacious rooms & bathrooms. The hosts are super friendly and really make you feel at home. On our last morning there, we had to make an early start and they packed us a superb, generous packed breakfast. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area."
"Convenient, comfortable and friendly especially the dog"
"The room was very very hot, not even open windows and the ceiling fan made any difference. An aircon and tiles instead of carpets in room 8 would be a great improvement."
"Warm and cosy atmosphere. Hostess and staff were friendly and accommodating. See you guys soon and thanks for a wonderful stay"
"the lodge is well designed, large rooms, tho a bit dark. Breakfast excellent. Would have liked top sheet as very warm duvet only. good restaurants nearby"
"We enjoyed our stay. We would not go back because our room was far to dark, we waited 45 mins before we got our breakfast, and our washing was sent back to us unwashed. The location was good and the hostess was very knowledgeable about the area and available activities. She was nice."

"We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed more. It was very clean and very comfortable. Nora also makes you feel right at home. It is a pity that it doesn't have all the amenities of a 4 star because it certainly deserves 4 stars based on quality of what you get."
