  "All the staffcis SO friendly and helpful. The lodge is beautiful and calm relaxing. The breakfast pancakes are the best I had. It was just a stop over for us but we will definately return for a longer stay!!"

  "We stayed at the lodge on Xmas eve. The cabin itself was okay. Everything is squashed into one small cabin and I'm not sure why the lodge is so pricey..we found it an average place. It's just in a forest nothing wow about it."

  "FYI - I booked and paid for a DBB night. However, the booking went through to the Lodge as just B&B. I only had my booking confirmation number with me so could not prove that I had booked for DBB on the day. The young lady at reception, in the absence of the GM, took my word for it and allowed us to have dinner on the evening. Not sure if this technical glitch has happened before but the young lady at Tsitsikamma Lodge, Ferosha (I think her name was), and Brandon, made sure my stay at the Lodge was not spoilt. Thank you. If it wasn't for the traffic noise from the N2, the Lodge would be 120%."

  "<p>Admin and management friendly but restaurant</p><p>staff needs to step it up as it does not seem that they have much training in hospitality. Had bad experience in trying to order some toasted sandwiches for lunch. </p><p>Limited activities for children under 10.</p><p></p><p></p>"

The staff is so friendly and helpful, a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere - even the receptionist left all she was doing and sang happy birthday to me! It made the day very special.   "Very nice setting but the rooms needs to be updated out of the 80's decor. Need air conditioning in the rooms as the bungalows is very hot on sunny days. No early check-in availible. Price does not warrent accomadation. Food was of a good standard."

  "We had a couple of nights at the lodge. Our cabin overlooked the forest and we could watch the birds and monkeys from the terrace. Good place to explore the national park & not too far from plett bay. Accommodation was comfortable and clean and the breakfast and dinner were good.   "Unfortunately me and my mom could only stay for one night but we made the most of it and tried to enjoy all the amenities offered by the Tsitsikamma Lodge! It's an awesome establishment for spending a relaxing holiday and for being spoiled rotten, especially when it comes to the breakfast buffet - WOW!! The buffet offers anything one can think of and we were overwhelmed by the huge choice of goodies. The cabins are cozy and allow enough space to unfold - even for a family with kids. We also made use of the SPA treatments offered right on the premisses and felt totally renewed afterwards. In the evening we had the choice of either booking a five course meal in the restaurant or of having a BBQ in front of our cabin. We decided for the BBQ and enjoyed the nocturnal sky full of shiny stars. The lodge is definitely very recommendable!!!"

Service was friendly, scenery amazing and the whole effect reminded me of the splendor of God's creation and our small and humble place within it.   "Baie Baie dankie vir 'n "rejuvinating" aand. Julle diens van die ontvangs, restaurant en kamer diens is regtig uit die boonste rakke. Almal met wie 'n mens te doen kry het 'n glimlag, en niks is ooit te veel nie. Dit is regtig 'n groter plesier en "stress reliever" om uitstenkende diens te kry as om erens anders to ontspan. Julle diens maak die plek besonders, en ek't nuuskierig hoe julle dit regkry.Baie geluk en dankie aan almal by die lodge. Ons was al daar van tevore, en sal elke keer terugkom vir meer.Groete, en hou so aan."

  "What can I stay, everything about 'Tsitsikamma Lodge' was wonderful, we even had a small Christmas tree in our lodge. The barbecue food was delivered to our door and the breakfast was a feast. The surrounding countryside was amazing but couldn't tempt my husband onto the Strip-Tease Trail (yes, it is what it sounds like!!) Will definitely return."

  "We had a brilliant stay at Tsitsikamma Lodge.The personnel there would do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.It was an experience to remember!Beautiful surroundings and cosy cabins - what else does one wants?A fireplace in each cabin would be welcome though - especially when it's cold and wet weather."

  "This is the perfect retreat for lovers of nature and beautiful surroundings.The park is very well laid out the cabins not too close together.The dinner buffet and breakfasts were delicous.The use of the 'laba' to barbecue indoors when the heavens opened was different. Would definitely recommend as somewhere to escape from it all! Excellent."

Meals were excellent and well displayed and presented.Apart from the walking trails and swimming very little to do.Wooden walkways very noisy especially when people pull wheeled suitcases along at 5.00 am."
