Skulpies Accommodation is well known for its affordable tariffs. We are situated approximately 400 meters from the beach and tidal pool. There is safe off-street parking for guest vehicles. We have two fully equipped, self-service units each with its own braai and entrance. This adds to the privacy and home experience. Skulpies can accommodate six people. Galjoen can accommodate four persons and Anex FULLY BOOKED - LONGTERM. Visitors and tourists to the area are important and SKULPIES ACCOMMODATION welcomes you with open arms.

Come to Strandfontein, the Jewel of the West Coast, and enjoy West Coast hospitality at its best. Bring along a camera, a video camera, binoculars, a good book on the flowers of Namaqualand, a sun hat, sunblock, and an emergency kit. Come and enjoy Matzikama, a world of contrasts. Strandfontein is a holiday destination with exceptional coastlines and sunsets. The area has clean beaches and is a safe environment, so beach walks at night are great. It is also an ideal overnight or getaway destination, especially for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life to relax and enjoy what the coastline has to offer. Strandfontein has exceptional plant species on the cliffs and a labyrinth. Southern Right whales visit from May to November. Activities range from kayaking and swimming to hiking and exploring the West Coast crayfish trail.

There are also other exciting activities such as fishing, surfing, paragliding, river rafting, stargazing, 4x4 trails, the Flamingo Bird Route, and Namaqualand flowers in season.Strandfontein is centrally situated for the guests who want to visit Vredendal, Klawer Wine Cellars, Birdfield wine tasting, San Rock art and river rafting, Lambertsbay, Vanrhynsdorp, Gifberg Waterfall, Maskam hiking trails, Van Rhyn museum, Koekenaap, achaelogical walking trails, and Nieuwoudtville.

"We spent three glorious, relaxing days in Strandfontein. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean with everything you could have in your own home. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful too. Strandfontein itself is also a very clean and pretty place. We will definitely recommend the place to our friends, and will return again."

"Dit was baie lekker. Ons was goed ontvang die Eienaares is baie vriendelik. Ons sal weer as ons in daardie area is daar gaan aanklop. It was really nice. We were warmly received. The owner was very friendly. We will definitely stay again when in the area."

"Wat n gerief om laat nag by n plek uit te kom, daar is koffie/tee reg om te maak, droe handdoekke en stort benodighede greed om te gebruik (sonder dat jy deur tasse moet grawe). Dis hierdie klein dingetjies en die pragtige versiering/uitleg van die Anex eenheid wat my die meeste beindruk het. Ons was ook bevoorreg om 'n insigewende kuiertjie met Pieter en Henda te kon hê. Hulle is baie vriendelik en kan jou heelwat vertel omtrent die omgewing, plekke om te sien, en paaie om te ry.Ons ... more"

Dis hierdie klein dingetjies en die pragtige versiering/uitleg van die Anex eenheid wat my die meeste beindruk het. Ons was ook bevoorreg om 'n insigewende kuiertjie met Pieter en Henda te kon hÃª. Hulle is baie vriendelik en kan jou heelwat vertel omtrent die omgewing, plekke om te sien, en paaie om te ry. Ons sal volgende keer beslis langer bly! What a joy, to arrive late at the establishment and the coffee/tea is ready to be made. Dry towels and shower facilities ready to be used, so no need to open your bags. It's these little things, the pretty decorations and layout of the Annex Unit that impressed me the most. We were also privileged to have an insightful visit with Pieter and Henda, they are very friendly and I will definitely stay longer the next time."

"Dit was baie lekker gewees,Pieter en Henda was uitstekend en baie vriendelik dit het gevoel asof ons mekaar jare ken. Die akomodasie was puik kon nie vir beter vra nie ons het gedink ons bly in ons eie plek.Ons beveel die plek by almal aan en sal weer enige tyd van Henda se akomodasie gebriuk maak.Ons Heman en Marie wil net graag vir Pieter en Henda baie dankie vir hul gasvryheid en vriedelikheid bedank ons waardeer dit baie,baie dankie."
