"Mom wasbooked for the green room at Lavender Leisure. But due to there being a lot of peoplebooked inand possible noise, we were moved to a room atthe hosts house where it might have been quieter. I was only told the day before we arrived, when I contacted the establishment,that it would probablybe better for mom to be moved - I had no idea what the room wouldlook like as it was not on the website, except that it was an en-suite.We were very disappointedin the room- it was inferior andrather dark with only one very small window in the room which let in virtually no light and was generally very poorly finished off. While it had an en-suite, the electrical box which allowed hot water either to the basinor theshower had a valve which my mom could not push as it was very hard, hence she did not have a shower at all. Both my brother and I tried the valve and it was not easy to use. The original room that webooked was far superior to what we had received. Although the host was friendly and perhaps a little too talkative,it was avery disappointing experience! I am not even sure that this is part of Lavender Leisure.Cheryl Clark"

"A very nice overnight as well as conference facility. We had a warm welcome and were set at home right from the start. Everything was clean and tidy and there was nothing more that we felt a need for. Situated in a beautiful nature surrounding, everything was there, from cutlery to clean and fresh towels. From playing cards up to a pool table. We enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend it to anyone."
