Access Guest Lodging is a lovely double-story guest house situated in Summerstrand, providing a combination of golden beaches, warm waters and access to the stimulating historic centre of Port Elizabeth.
We offer the business or leisure traveller accommodation in a quiet, upmarket beachfront suburb with the options of bed and breakfast rooms and a Self-catering Unit. All our rooms are comfortable and equipped with TVs, towels and linen. The rooms have private entrances, secure parking and braai facilities.
Summerstrand Hobie Beach is the scene of the annual Splash Festival close to Shark Rock Pier and Pollock Beach is a very popular beach nearby. The area is home to windsurfers, hobie-cats, yachts and surfers, while the 5 km Donkin Heritage Trail takes in a number of wonderful historic attractions, winding its way through the city centre.
The Boardwalk Casino complex, touted as the entertainment centre for all ages and a must for days that dont involve beaches, is a heady mix of shopping, entertainment, gaming and fun set out around a series of man-made lakes and gardens.

03 May 2016"We stayed in the self-catering unit, which has access through the establishment. The unit was generally clean. It was the first time we have ever stayed in accommodation where there was no provision for tea/coffee made in the morning. We travel often for business and pleasure, including internationally. Unfortunately we were not impressed, and would not choose this establishment on a return visit to PE.<br />"
