  "This self catering studio in the first floor is spacious with a nice view and close to Summerstrand Beach. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Very friendly reception. Value for money. The road was quiet. It seems to be a good area I would stay there again."

  "Everything in the uni,. although standard, was in working condition. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we could watch TBN on the DSTV. As Christians, we find, that there are not many establishments, that cater for us. I would like to suggest, that sunshades be erected over the car parking space and the patio - braai area.   "We enjoyed our stay at Alcyone. It was great for the boys to have their own bathroom. The beach was close enough to walk to and the place was cleaned for us. It was nice to go out and come back to a clean place. Alcyone also allowed us to use the bicycles as well as a Weber braai which came in handy. The shops and lots of eating places were nearby as well so the whole holiday was not spent cooking. The Internet access was also a plus."

Very friendly and helpful hosts who make you really feel at home. Plus two lovely cats. Nice area, University campus and a beach within the walking distance. It was perfect for me. I enjoyed my stay."

  "Quotes and correspondence before were clear and easy to understand. Fantastic location, close to the beach and just about everything else. Rooms are clean and fully equipped with everything you could need for a self-catering place. Facilities to braai and even have friends round (we didn't use this facility, but it looked good). PArking and rooms themselves feel secure and quiet.Lovely finishing touches (welcome snack basket, well presented towel bundles and mini soap).This guest house is VERY well priced compared to others I checked out nearby...all in all, GREAT value for money!"

  "Had a fantastic and relaxing 4 days with the family (6 adults and a baby), the accommodation was neat and tidy as well as being good value for money.There was a really handy assortment of complimentary snacks on arrival which was a lovely touch.Very hospitable and friendly guest house. Tourist information pamphlets were a great help too, as not much is available on the net, pity as there is a lot more to do in PE than is advertised."
