First Avenue Guesthouse

First Avenue Guesthouse is a well established 4-Star guest house situated in a quiet cul-de-sac opposite Hobie Beach in the popular beachfront suburb of Summerstrand in Port Elizabeth. The original character-filled homestead dates back to the early 1900s, with gleaming Oregon pine floors and high ceilings.

"I booked a B & B but was placed in a flat up 4 flights of stairs roughly a block away from the advertised location. No aircon, no mini bar a TV that did not work properly and was checked in by a half-drunk guy that gave me the wrong keys. Wifi that kept dropping signal."

"Good and very friendly service, nice and clean rooms, good breakfast, lovely pool! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, park, etc. We had a great time!"
