  "WHAT A BEAUTIFULL AND VERY WELL EQUIPED HOUSE WITH LOTS OF LOVE AND TENDER TOUCHES ALL ROUND.VERY CLEAN HOUSE, BEAUTIFUL GARDEN AND EXCELLENT FACILITIES.WE AS A FAMILY OF 5 ADULTS AND 1 CHILD WERE OVERWHELMED BY THE SPACE AND HIGH STANDARD OF EVERYTHING ON OFFER.INSIDE BRAAI WITH LOW OUTSIDE TEMPERATURES AND RUSKS AVAILABLE WAS ENJOYED.   "We loved our stay at Blydevooruitsig, and visit to Sutherland - from very educational SALT to entertaining Jurg. Everything was perfect. We would love to come back to Sutherland and will certainly choose Blydevooruitsig again. The kids loved the big yard and had loads of fun with their rugby- and soccer ball. Thank you to Hans the gardener for the perfectly neat yard. Even Chonga the doggie was delighted, and the woodpile under the braai kept him mesmerised and entertained - he must have sniffed something there that we were not aware of. There is nothing to fault. Thank you Eljoma."

  "It is rate to arrive at accommodation and have your expectations exceeded. This was indeed the case at Blydevooruitsig. The house is beautiful, well appointed with comfortable beds, electric blankets and plenty hot water for our group of seven people. Thank you so much - we will be back."

  "We only stayed one night but was very impressed with the accommodation. The house is beautiful and full of character and the gardens well maintained. Well positioned. The house is extremely neat and well appointed with attention to detail. The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed using the indoor braai room (which would be a very welcome fireplace room in winter). The beds and linen high quality and very comfortable. Would love to stay there again for longer. Highly recommended!!"

  "What a lovely spacious and quiet place to stay. We were a group of 4, staying in a huge house that can sleep up to 12, so there was plenty of space.<div>Everything we needed was provided.</div><div>A few small things do need a handyman to do some DIY on and some of the lounge chairs weren't very comfortable (though the braai room ones were).</div><div>Our teens loved their double beds and pillows and wanted to take them home with us - I'll stick to my own at home though!</div><div>We went in January and due to cloud cover, especially in the evening, we didn't see one star - however, the huge verandah was a great place to sit and watch the lightning and rain fall (needed due to the drought.</div>"

  "Whenever you expect something and you get more than what you expected, you are happy.This happened in Sutherland - I expected extreme cold weather and I got more. Not so sure if I was so happy about that, but I wanted to go to Sutherland by motorbike in winter to experience the cold. I have been planning this for years with my friend Henning, we did! His brief to me was to get a place were we can make lots of fire, drink red wine and be comfortable. My expectations were very high of the place I wanted. I looked at the available places on SafariNow and this caught my eye.I booked and got the place, arriving there from Cape Town on a Motorbike at 0 Degrees is a huge experience. We were welcomed by the people and was I surprised, this huge place with huge room that caters for every need. There is space, and practically anything you need to make you warm and comfortable, the people are friendly and helpful. I will highly recommend this place and will not stay anywhere else than here when I go to Sutherland again.I will not recommend Jupiter Restaurant - they are not flexible! I will recommend Blydevooruitsig Gastehuis to anybody.Visit the Whitehouse restaurant for your meal, very helpful people that will do what it take to serve you.Thanks Eljoma."
