Holhoed Overnight Accommodation shares the beauty of the Karoo with guests from all over South Africa and abroad, situated 54 km from Sutherland on the R354.

We offer a lovely self-catering cottage set away from the main homestead. The cottage consists of one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with two single beds. There is another bathroom outside with a shower and a toilet. All bedding and towels are provided, including electric blankets for those cold winter nights.

The sunny verandah overlooks the tranquil open spaces of the farm and leads onto a lovely garden with braai facilities. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged on request. The farm has no mobile reception and the cottage has no TV, making this the ultimate escape from the busy city life.

Enjoy the friendly atmosphere on this working farm, where your hosts will make sure you have a comfortable stay. Indulge in the many fruits we have growing on our farm of which includes peaches, pears, nuts, pomegranates, grapes, apples and prickly pears.
