  "Gerieflike warm kamers het met ons aankoms op ons gewag. Inligting oor die dorpie is gegee en Juanita was gereed om dit vir ons gerieflik en aangenaam te maak. Dankie vir n lekker kuier en vir die hulp met die was van ons wasgoed. My man moes noodgedonge van die diens van die plaaslike hospitaal gebruik maak en ook daar was die diens uitstekend in n skoon en netjiese hospitaal."

  "We spent a long weekend with Juanita and her wonderful staff at Kambro Kind.&nbsp;&nbsp; I can highly recommend the guest house.&nbsp; It is well situated in town and very comfortable.&nbsp; The rooms are lovely with good quality linen and en-suite bathrooms.&nbsp; There are TVs,&nbsp; wall heaters and electric blankets to ensure you are comfortable. Junita was happy to answer all our questions and helped to ensure we didn't miss all this "dorpie" has to offer! <br />"

As first time visitors to Sutherland we especially appreciated the Information booklet giving the town's history and attractions. The room was comfortable.   "What a lovely town and lovely guesthouse -clean and homely. Had a great meal at Perlmann's Restaurant - just missed the part about them only accepting cash payment - had to go and find a working ATM to draw money - however the owner did offer that we could come back later to pay or that we could do an Internet transfer. They are still waiting for their credit card machine to arrive. Had a lovely breakfast at the guesthouse and a good night's rest. Jurg's presentation on stars was great and we would love to come back to this lovely town some day."

  "We stayed for a night midweek, and the rrom was lovely. Clean, comfortable and with very friendly service. We had a lovely dinner at the pub down the road, I can highly recommend it, it's called Perlmann's. Then we went off to SALT to have a look at the stars, which were rather disappointing due to the cloudy weather. When we got back we jumped into bed, and quickly realised that this was "Grandma's feather bed!" Very springy, saggy and soft. We did not sleep at all well, and think they really need to get another mattress (this was room # 2, the others may be better) The breakfast was great, with friendly, cheerful staff!"

  "Very knowledgeable host, and not just on astronomy. Nice clean rooms; despite the cold weather outside, it didn't get too cold inside. Nice little restaurant. Host also kindly booked me in for a tour at SALT. Safest place in town - it's next to the police station!"

  "We stayed - a family of six - at the farm house run by Kambrokind Guest House. It was -7 degrees at night but we were quite warm in the farmhouse - bed warmers, wall heaters and plenty of blankets. Jurg's stargazing show at night is a must, as is the tour of SALT. We saw so many stars and the kids loved the baby sheep and owls at the farmhouse. Lovely self-catering stay just out of Sutherland!"
