Karin's Cottage
Karin's Cottage is located in the small Karoo town of Sutherland, famous for its dramatic landscapes and warm hospitality. The area offers numerous outdoor activities that make Sutherland a popular holiday destination, both in winter and in summer. The town is set on the western side of the Roggeveld Mountains and is known for sheep farming.
This lovely stone house has three bedrooms, of which two rooms have double beds and the third bedroom has two single beds. The beds are covered with eclectic blankets in winter. Guests share one bathroom with a spa bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove. There is a lounge area with a TV and is open-plan to the dining room. The lounge area has a sleeper couch for extra guests.
The cottage has gas- and electric heaters available, and there is an outside braai area. There is a safe and secure parking available.

03 July 2014"We had an enjoyable and cosy stay at Karin's Cottage which is on the boundary of Sutherland and close to the road that goes to the SALT. There is plenty of space for a family of 5 or 6. You won't be cold on a snowy evening - there are electric blankets, and oil and gas heaters (plus underfloor heating in the bathroom)."
