"The room was fine though rather dreary and dated. The room size was great. The bathroom was clean but the shower needed a bit of "handy Andy" tlc.The breakfast was good but the crockery a bit old and chipped! Limited TV chanels on a rather dated old TV"

"I enjoyed my night, and wish the weather had been better, to take advantage of the lovely pool. The guest house is pet friendly, and owners are very accommodating. If you have a livewire like mine, the absence of perimeter fencing is scary."

"The host's were inviting and helpful with things to do and restaurants to try.<div><br /></div><div>Rooms were comfortable and cool during the hot days and evening's. Breakfasts had enough variety and the omelettes tasty.</div><div><br /></div><div>The guest house is close to many restaurants and one of many hiking trails.</div><div><br /></div><div>We will definitely be back to stay there again, when we return to Swellendam.</div>"

"the reviews looked good. What I liked were the friendly owners and the plentiful breakfast. What I didnt like were the shabby rooms in a dodgy looking out_building and the pea-green pool. The bedroom was full of long-legged spiders and mosquitoes, the bathroom had a smelly loo, cracked tiles and bare cement. The furniture and brocade drapes looked like junk-shop finds. I couldnt persuade the rest of the family to bathe here on our 1 day stay. Pity...the area is beautiful"

"Our stay was beautiful. Unfortunately, there were very severe rains just before we arrived, therefore some of the rooms suffered from water. But this was given as a fact and nobody could alter it. The welcome was very friendly, and we received every help we asked for. Regarding the rooms, one could note that they are already some years old, but more important, they are equipped by a loving hand - we enjoyed it! The breakfast was great.
