Die Tuishuise

Die Tuishuise is a national monument built in 1813, situated in the historic town of Swellendam. Set under the Langeberg Mountain range, the guest house offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere.

There are four bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms and two with private bathrooms. Each room is equipped with cotton bed linen, electric blankets, hair dryers and tea and coffee facilities. There is a lovely guest lounge area with log fireplace for cosy evenings, leading out onto a sunny patio area.

Swellendam is the third oldest settlement in South Africa and halfway between Cape Town and George, on the N2 Garden Route. The guest house is within easy walking distance to restaurants, museums and other historic places of interest.
