"Loved the peace and quiet and the fact that it is not crowded. All the pics on the ad is true the facility."
"Die stilte en die skoonheid van natuur miskien 'stort deur vir stort en blind vir voor venster veral vir die somer son"
"The venue is very neat and tidy. We are thankful that the staff at reception contacted us as we were running late. Downside - the sight itself (A20) has a slight slope. Also, there was a constant smell of sewerage which made the stay a bit unpleasant. As we left I was told that there is a tank beneath the site which may have been the problem. We would visit again but make sure we're not on that particular campsite."
"The water slides were a hit with the kids. Unfortunately there weren't enough canoes available at the time, but I've seen on FB they've bought more. Lovely clean, grassy sites, even flies kept at bay :)"
"I stayed for 3 nights. With my 3 daughters 18,6 and 2. We wanted to try our hand at fishing. This was probably the only entertainment we had. Unless you count the freezing pools (ever heard of solar heating to take the edge off) or the putt putt and kids park. The water is undrinkable in the chalets and only when you get there are you advised of this. You then have to walk around to find the drinking fountains. The unit I had was for 4 people but I was provided with a pan and a little pot to make food in. The bar fridge also left no room for anything really and the cherry on the cake... the double bed broke on the last evening and there is no after hours service to assisst. Overall it is a great place to fish and camp old school. Thanks for the experience."
"Positive. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Campsites green grass. Children enjoyed the river. New swimming pool setup excellent. Bathrooms clean and hot water. Meat prices excellent and well packaged.<br /><br />Negative. Ice cube prices 50% higher than what is available in Swellendam (25km away) and they sell a lot over our weekend stay. Prices for putt-putt is R30 per person per round. This is a rip-off. Flies every where. Water taps at campsites have no effective run-off which contribute to the flies.<br /><br />Will I visit Kam'Bati again? Maybe. <br /><br />Leon Wessels<br />"
"What a beutifull place, kids loved the slides, pools and also our cabin no 2. Simple, just all we needed to enjoy ourself. We will be definitely back"
"Had a lovely stay in the new section.<br />The new pools are awesome for the kids, but a real pity the proper supertube is now closed.<br />Great to swim in the river, watch out the banks are slippery if you are brave enough to try the Tarzan rope!<br />Ablutions are excellent!<br />"
"What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Service was amazing. Cabins are well furnished and kitted out! We did not want to leave."
"Would recommend this place to everyone. Very friendly, helpful staff, beautiful setting and clean well equipped cottages."
"Very nice and well-maintained resort not far from the main road. The staff was attentive and we had nothing to complain about."
"The campsite that my family were supposed to have was flooded because of all the rain, so the receptionist moved us to a better and higher site. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. All the sites are fully grassed and right on the riverbank, with lovely river views through the large trees. This is a safe family-friendly camp, with a kiddies pool and a supertube that is in regular use. The family ablution block was always clean and tidy with hot water, as well as toiletpaper and hand soap available at all times. Apart from the weather, we had a fantastic time and will definitely come back in summer."
