This is a three and a half bedroom property that is situated on the shore line of the Indian Ocean. The kitchen if fully equipped with a double door fridge-freezer, a stove microwave, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
A walk through the front door will take you into an open-planned dining room and lounge, all tastefully furnished and with great entertainment technology. There are double lock up garages and secure parking.
There is a deck upstairs with a braai area for those sunny days, and a bar area that is sheltered. A portable braai is also available.
Outside you will find a quaint garden setting. About 10 paces over the lawn will lead you straight onto the beach-sand, and a few more paces and you are in the warm Indian Ocean. It's awesome all year round.
The house has an alarm system and close circuit camera system with Armed Response Protection.
"I loved the closeness of the beach, a path leading straight from the house to the beach. Darren was very friendly and helpful. A good host. The house was clean and comfortable."
"We booked the Aloe Beach house for the weekend and the place was awesome. It is so close to the beach and it was wonderful going to sleep listening to the sound of the waves."
"A really pleasant and comfortable stay. Very near to the beach. It was really worth staying there."
"The beach house really is right on the beach, a stone's throw away from the water's edge. Unfortunately the house is not very well maintained. The washing machine in the kitchen would not complete one washing cycle, the tumble dryer is non-existent. The cupboards in the kitchen were completely stuffy and we felt the need to clean the crockery and cutlery before use. The alarm system might once have been operational, however it was all reduced to open ended wires and random exposed circuit boards. Many of the light globes were not working, including the downstairs bathroom which rather obviated its use at night. The basin in the main bathroom upstairs would constantly overflow every time we used the tap. All the above were communicated to the staff, however nothing was done to rectify the problems. Despite all the issues we still had a pleasant stay as the house is ideally situated right on the beach. On arrival we had to wait outside the house for someone to arrive and give us the keys. It would make much more sense to direct guests to the main house, provide a welcome drink and have credit card facilities available. Literature with contact numbers for local restaurants and attractions, while not essential, would be helpful. Inconsistencies such as the stated check out time on the safari website being different than the one on the wall in the living room must be rectified. Correct all the problems above and I would be willing to pay so much more for quality accommodation. It is such a shame that the service is not more professional and the house better maintained, for it really does have such a splendid location."
"A really pleasant and comfortable stay! Literally on the beach, what more could you ask for?"
