"I had to walk around for more than 5 min to find someone to check us in! There is nothing going on there! We were only there for about 1.5 hours and decided to leave for Colesberg as we couldn't find anything to eat or drink there and it was loadshedding!!! We are still waiting for someone to get back to us regarding our refund!!!!!! Never in my live will I go back to Tromsburg ever again"

"The owner and staff at Afro Villa was very friendly and accommodating, they really went out of their way to welcome and assist us.The food was great and prepared to our taste.The rooms are lovely and clean; and once all renovations are complete, they will be gorgeous."

"Unfortunately this was not what we were expecting. Afro Villa should not be open for bookings yet. The hosts tried their best and it is not their fault. I believe the owner needs to get his house in order. We even had to go to the local shop to purchase our own drinks and nothing was available at this establishment. I would not recommend Afro Villa at all at this point. We will never go back."

"They are definitely not ready to receive guests. Rooms are not finished, poorly equipped. Very basic breakfast. Would definitely not recommend. Website very misleading."
