"Oasis in the Karoo! Take your swimming costumes and tennis rackets - Soon your long day in the car will be forgotten. Isabel and Derek are charming hosts."
"Awesome experience, great hosts and an unforgettable dinner and breakfast."
"Delicious dinner, thoughtful cold drinks in the fridge you could buy at a reasonable cost, lush garden and cute ducks!!"
"Most visitors to the website would be forgiven for thinking that this is what the accommodation look like - just to find that this is the main house and that the actual cottages are much smaller and close together. There was a drainage problem in the cottage we stayed in, which meant using the basis and the toilet was problematic. My advise to guesthouse owners: Take time out and sleep in your cottages that you want you guests to sleep in, and ask yourself whether what you offer is comfortable."
"We were very impressed by this Reitpoort. It was easy to find and we were warmly welcomed by our host Isabel. Our room was detached from the main house, spacious, clean and charming and everything we could need was included there. We strolled the magnificent gardens before our dinner where we feasted on perfectly cooked Karoo lamb and a range of veggies. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again as the perfect Joburg-Cape Town stop over or guest house escape. Many thanks Isabel and Derek for your hospitality. Fran & Paul.<br/>"

"The hospitality and food at Rietpoort is fantastic. The rooms and dining area can do with an upgrade and deep clean. We only stayed overnight and it was fine for that purpose."
"Ons het rerig lekker oorgeslaap by rietpoort, lekker plaas atmosfeer baie dankie."
"One of the best B&B's on the JHB-CT route we've stayed at. Fantastic hospitality, well-appointed rooms, beautiful setting. Small elegant touches make for a special stay. Worth staying an extra night as part of the holiday."
"Hospitality was wonderful. Food really good. Isobel and Derek great hosts. Confirmation said we had a garden cottage but we had a room in the house with uncomfortable bed and bathroom privacy non existent which was not great. My review therefore part good and part bad."
"The hosts were very welcoming. The guest farm had a lovely shady garden and the supper was excellent."
"We had a comfortable stay with a tasty evening meal. Thank you."
