Tshipise, a Forever Resort

Tshipise means something warm, with large baobab trees dotting the landscape and the famous Tshipise koppie towering over this resort. It is also 105 km from the Kruger National Parks Northern Pafuri Gate.

The self-catering rondavels and campsites are barely visible among the Mopani, red bush willow and jakkalsbessie trees. Guests can soak in the bushveld atmosphere around a braai with a South African potjie, or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant.

There are three conference facilities that can host between 20 to 300 people, with standard equipment.

Amenities on the resort include horse riding, Jukskei in season, bush drives, putt-putt, tennis courts, trampolines, volleyball in season, walking trails, hot and cold swimming pools, Bowls in season and a kiddies play park.

"I really enjoyed the environment. I was disappointed by the cleaning services. Even though reported no action took place. Supervisors came but the cleaner promised to clean again but never showed up. The towels were surrounded by spider web when I arrived and I had to kill big spiders, the bedding was stuffy. So except the chalet cleaning service all went well"

"We had a lovely stay, the pools were very clean as well as the chalet. We enjoy Sarah who serviced our chalet. She was friendly and helpfull. We enjoyed the putt putt and the lovely gardens. We went for a walk every morning to enjoy the lovely surroundings. We will visit again next year."

"The resort is not in good shape and not up to our expectations for a FOREVER type resort.<div><br /></div><div>The shop had very little food products.</div><div><br /></div><div>The VETKOEK restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday (i.e. 4 and 5 October 2015) when we wanted to eat lunch there.</div><div><br /></div><div>The butchery had also very little meat products.
