Tsitsikamma Cottages is all about home; community and about connecting with our guests on a personal level. Bring your kids and the family to relax and reconnect around our swimming pool or a crackling braai fire. Our unspoiled, panoramic views, wide open spaces and fresh mountain air make it difficult not to unwind.
Not only do we offer some of the best value for money, inexpensive but quality accommodation in Tsitsikamma but our array of options is so diverse that there is truly something for everybody. From the original freestanding cottages to the tasteful family rooms, all our units are TGCSA three star graded and fully equipped for self catering.
Our 4 hectare resort boasts a relaxed country atmosphere; the immaculate lawns give way to a large farm dam in the east, and our guests are welcome to go canoeing - all gear is provided at no additional cost. Children are encouraged to enjoy our trampoline and playground. We also have a recreational space with a pool table and table tennis table for your entertainment.
We are situated within close proximity to all of the renowned activities, sights and restaurants in Tsitsikamma; located 10km before the Storms River Bridge on the Port Elizabeth side. Choose us as your base from which to explore the greater Tsitsikamma and surrounding areas.
"Bad!!!poor water feed, fridge not working properly and water on the floor due to fridge. ForR900 pd one would expect at least 3star service...not even half a star. Beds are broken, chair broken, dustbin broken, excessive amount of flies. If this is the type of accommodation safari offers people to live in at that price --- stay away!!!!!!"
"<p>We've booked and paid to be accommodated in thethe Palm Tree Chalet but on arrival we were given a dilapidated Mountain View Chalet with no opening windows and a back door that doesn't open. The TV wasn't working and the chalet had a damp mouldy smell. This unit is not fit for any human. We have refused to live in that unit and when asking for a refund it was refused. We've found accommodation at the Dolphin View Self Catering resort which I will highly recommend.</p><p>I will recommend SafariNow to remove this chalet from their web site as the Tsitsikamma cottages will definitely ruin their good reputation.</p>"
"We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay to explore the surroundings."
"We enjoyed the scenic location and the warm hospitality at Tsitsikamma Cottages. Francie's cooking was much appreciated!"
"I was very disappointed with our accommodation and made my feelings known at the time. The bathroom had no window and no alternative ventilation, to the best of my knowledge this is illegal. There was no shower, no towel rail and no bath mat. The room had no opening windows therefore having to leave the sliding door open for fresh air. This posed a security risk as well as a privacy issue. The room was dark and dingy and we couldn't get the TV to work, despite asking for assistance. I would not recommend any one to that establishment."
"Great place to stay and explore the surroundings! Great food too!"
"Very cosy and the most friendly people!"
