  "We had a lovely babymoon this weekend. We were greeted warmly by Silvy even though we arrived early as well as a great welcome by the 3 resident dogs. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and the aircons in the room were a life saver during the 30 degree heat. There are also fireplaces in the living room so I can imagine it being super cosy during the winter months too."

  "Very clean,comfortable and spacious. Garden beautifully maintained.Shower head was partly blocked and air con very noisy.No WiFi & a pity that breakfast is not an option."

  "Overpriced for a room that isn't even serviced, was cold with no extra blanket or at least mats next to bed on cold cement floor. Stayed in Tulbagh many times and thought we would try somewhere new but will stick to past favorites"

  "We made the booking online and received confirmation via sms with the booking ref number. On our arrival they where not aware of the booking... eventually we booked in. After 2 hours I received a call from the owner that he has not approved our stay ?? Breakfast was another weird experience - we had to order our meal the previous evening and give a specific time when we will eat. that was not a problem. We arrived on time and the meal was waiting for us. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and enjoyed the view we where asked to please leave as they need the table for the next sitting ??? My suggestion is that they can rather buy another table and let the guest enjoy their breakfast and view at own leisure."

  "If you want 5 star treatment and attention to detail then Villa Tarentaal is the place to go. We've been visiting Tulbagh for many years and this was our first time at Villa Tarentaal. Graham is an excellent host and the attention to detail is very impressive all around - as a host, the rooms themselves, nothing has been missed."

And the breakfasts here are simply the best with a great view of the mountains! Try the French toast option."

  "Stunning mountain views from Peacock Suite. Dcor is beautiful with huge king size bed, bathroom with bath and shower big enough for 2.Breakfast is served in your room or veranda and is delicious. Suite has hairdryer, iron with ironing board, tea and coffee facilities, honesty bar, flatscreen TV and fireplace with aircon. Personal touch is success of Villa Tarentaal."

  "Enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Peacock Suite - the suite was beautiful. There is a good choice of breakfasts - we had the English on both days - scrumptious with crispy toast (yay!)- wonderful to sit eating breakfast with stunning view of the mountains and watching all the birds. The gardens are beautiful and I loved the birdlife. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Thanks to Graham, our host for all the attention to small details."

  "Myself and my boyfriend were really impressed with the cottage we stayed in. It was clean, neat, and had lovely finishes. Graham ensured we were taken care of and that all our needs were met.   "We stayed in Blue Crane Cottage from 1 - 6 January. Lovely accommodation, friendly hosts, great breakfasts, kids (3 and 5) loved the pool and friendly family dogs. Very relaxing stay. Beautiful views and gardens. Plenty to do and see in the local area. Many thanks for a great stay, Graham, Brandi and the rest of the Hunter family."
