Highcroft Retreat & Lodge: A Hidden Gem on the South Coast

Highcroft has four two sleeper rooms with private bathroom, 1 two sleeper rooms for 3 people with a shared en-suite bathroom and one 4 sleeper, two bedroom family chalet with a shared en-suite bathroom. Two x 2 bedroom, shared_ensuite bathroom with a single bed in each bedroom. Each unit has a patio with outdoor furniture overlooking the lush garden. The cabins configuration is ideally suited for families, couples, or solo travellers.

Braai facilities are available, with numerous restaurants, bars and kiddies entertainment within a five to ten minute drive, including blue flag beaches, shops, supermarkets, laundries, garages, etc.

The lodge is situated on a working parrot farm, where you can admire the colorful and friendly birds, or even book a session of animal communication with the owner, who is a certified animal communicator. The farm is also home to a herd of buck, who roam freely on the property and add to the natural charm of the place.

One of the highlights of Highcroft is the labyrinth, a circular path that leads to the center and back, symbolizing the journey of life. The labyrinth is a powerful tool for meditation, reflection and healing, and can be used for various purposes, such as setting intentions, releasing fears, finding answers or celebrating milestones. The labyrinth can also be used for outdoor events, such as weddings, ceremonies or rituals.

Another feature of Highcroft is the meditation room, a sacred space for inner peace and harmony. The meditation room is equipped with cushions, mats, candles and incense, and can be used for individual or group meditation, yoga, chi gung or other spiritual practices. The meditation room can also be used for small, intimate wedding ceremonies.

Highcroft is also a perfect base to explore the South Coast, which boasts spectacular golden beaches, numerous rivers and incredible nature reserves. The sub-tropical conditions are ideal for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, fishing and lazing in the sun. Cycling on and off-road is available in the area.
