Umzumbe Beach Villa

Umzumbe Beach Villa is a lovely four-bedroom beachfront house, situated right on the edge of the beautiful sandy beach in Umzumbe. The cosy little hamlet of Umzumbe lies between the Umzumbe and Ingambili Rivers, just 5 km south of Hibberdene and 100 km from Durban. The house is ideal for anyone looking for sun, surf and sand.

Enjoy a braai on the patio while listening to the waves crashing less than 60 meters away. A private path cuts through the lush foliage that leads directly onto the beach. Umzumbe is known for excellent fishing and also has a Blue Flag beach for swimming and surfing. The house is large and comfortable, sleeping up to 10 guests in open-plan spaces. Glass patio doors open onto a large covered patio which overlooks the sea and garden.

The village itself is almost blanketed in a wild dune forest, offering a slice of paradise that is part of the coast. Life here is languid, relaxed and typical of the Hibiscus Coast; one comes here to slow down and enjoy the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

"the maid did not tell us that we could use her at extra R 150 per day so we did not see her the entire stay until we were told by owner when we asked on monday.there were no candles or torches in house so not good during load shedding. the alarm at night is a problem as keeps on going off + there is a night guard prowling around with a panga so not sure if we felt safe or not - would have preferred r the other not both."

"We had an amazing time at the house! the beach is beautiful and completely unspoilt. The kids loved the tidal pool on the main beach! Best holiday in years! We would recommend the beach house."
