Barry and Maureen's

Barry and Maureen's is where strangers become friends. The property is set in the southern Drakensberg, in quiet and secure surroundings.

We offer two large rooms with en-suite bathrooms and one self-catering flatlet with two bedrooms, a lounge and a kitchen. Evening meals are available on request and we offer tours up the Sani Pass as well as transport to and from the airport.

The area offers a variety of entertainment including long or short hikes, trout or bass fishing, three golf courses, birding, horse riding, mountain biking, river rafting, tubing and health and beauty care. There are also many historical sites of interest including rock art sites.

"What a wonderful experience. My daughter and I were riding the Sani2c and had to leave early. Both Maureen and Barry were up at four to prepare a full breakfast and to see us off well before 6. Thanks a million Maureen, the oatmeal porridge carried me through day 1 and we both finished."
