"Absolutely wonderful place. Thanks to the very friendly Host Annemarie, who warmly welcomed us and took care of our every need, providing us with the extra bed. The cottage was very neat and prepared before our arrival. Away from the city in natural surroundings, utilising "green" technology. Beautiful place to quiet the mind and take in the soul. Joseph (staff) was an excellent support resource for any help required. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, only wish it could have been longer. Would definitely highly recommend Coleford Lodge Underberg for those who want to be far from the madding crowd!"
"The lodge and infrastructure has been run down with little maintenance to speak of"
"We are very disappointed on the braai facilities. The braaier was in such a bad shape, we could not use same at all. Seeing that we are campers, we are used to anything, but that braaier was very rusty and not even in any way, you could adjust the grill / grid. I don't know how one can make fire in that braaier. Further, the linen and towels had some brown stains and also the carpet in our room was not clean. We don't mind if it is not 5 star accommodation, but the basics should be looked at."
"Beautiful setting and buildings"
"Enjoyed the tranquil environment, venue was perfect, friendly service, wood burnt out quickly and not good quality, either supply a bit more or change the type of wood."
"Well when we first arrived we did not realise that there was no TV in our cottage. However there is one in the dinning room. It actually turned out to be one of the most peaceful holidays we have had. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed and they were so accommodating. The Jacuzzi was lovely. And alot of little fun activities. We didn't even need the TV. Was a great break away from the hassle and bustle of life. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want a peaceful break away from the city life and you just want to relax. Keep up the good work guys."
"Thank you for your hospitality, we originally booked for just bed, but upon arrival were offered dinner and breakfast too. The meals were just what we needed. We were given excellent accomodation, in a comfy room with all the necessities. I will definitely be visiting you again. (Probably next Sani2C)"
"The dirt roads to Coleford Lodge were not the best. However, when we arrived at the Lodge, we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely place to relax, catch up on sleep, etc. My son liked the entertainment area especially the pool table. The accommodation was very roomy, clean and a nice place to be. We are considering coming back to Coleford Lodge in the future."
