  "Before we got there we were booked into Cottage 1.However, upon arrival, we were out in Corttage 2. We only realized this when we got back home and saw the original confirmation mail.I called Brenda and asked where the cupboard space for our clothing is and she seemed quite perplexed by my question of "where are we expected to pack our bra and panties and other under-wear". It turns out that you get a "clothes rail" and and your under-wear and other personal items need to be stored in suit-cases. There is no space in Cottage 2 for your suit-cases, so it lies all over the couch or floor. We where 2 adults and a child. We booked for three nights and to be in such a small space with no cupboard space and having suit-cases all over the place was inconvenient.We did notice how other couple were being booked into the larger Cottage 1 and only staying for one night and wondering why we weren't given what we had booked. We felt "short-changed" and will not be using this establishment again, nor will we be recommending it to our circle of influence. All this being said, the place was clean."

  "This little cottage is small and yet big enough for a couple to enjoy their time in Underberg. Plates and pans needed to be washed again as it was dirty from previous use.Bed linen had marks on, I could not tell what it was. The throw that goes over the bed has cigarette burns all over the throw.The Bathroom was cleanish, just no place to but your toiletries in the shower. The towels smelt of dampness, cannot tell when last it was washed or cleaned.(Bring own towels)Also there is no condiments like salt and pepper, cutlery is enough for two people so if more people stayed there, it would be a problem. Also owner of place did not respond to my messages after we arrived and paid via EFT. Only thing I wanted to know was do we have to buy wood or is it provided for. This is for the fireplace. Till today no reply at all.Cute cottage not really value for money in my view. Underberg is a lovely little town, lots of exploring can be done. I will not use over the Edge cottage as I just felt a little done in."

  "Loved the peacefulness and relaxation that came along with our stay, one thing that could be improved is permission to fish at a nearby dam. Also the signs to show where the place is are not very clear."

  "We stayed over the weekend. The lodge is fully equipped, immaculate and very comfortable. The little touches like chocolate on the pillows, provision of tea, coffee, sugar, wood and charcoal makes the best choice for a self catering unit."

  "We stayed here in the dead of winter. Underberg was bitterly cold!!!<br/><br/>It seems like they have recently added a second unit on the property(this is where we stayed). So for a couple I would recommend unit 2 as it is really very cosy.<br/><br/>Thanks again for a clean and well kept establishment and an easy to organise check in.<br/><br/>"

  "Must say there is allot of detail and one feels right at home. great view and overall very nice and safe. The firniture is of high qaulity and the bedding and kitchen very nice. We enjoyed this stay . Only problem we had is that there was no sign at the main road indicating that the cottage is down that gravel road . also the directions should say turn left into main road and drive till the very end of gravel road to find over the edge cottage on your right. Overall great place!!"

  "A beautiful, comfortable, well equipped cottage with possibly the best views in Underberg. Perfectly located to explore the area. Upstairs bedroom a bit chilly but only 4 of us so we all slept downstairs in the very cozy bedrooms.Highly recommended!"
