  "We loved the size and cleanliness of the room. Unfortunately the photograph is misleading in that the dwelling in the front is not the rental property; it is the separate building in the backyard, just to the left of the main house. The honesty bar was empty and single-ply loo paper just is a no-no. The owners referred us to a rather unusual but highly recommended restaurant in the old watermill (a national monument) just on the edge of town. Breakfast was off the premises in a coffee shop and was very satisfactory."

  "We felt welcome, the room was clean, spacious and all our needs were met. Breakfast was seved at a local (very close) coffeeshop with a very high standard and really good coffee. Highly recommended."

  "Henriette and Andre were the perfect hosts, making sure of our comfort and giving us tips and advice on what happens in this dorpie! the accommodation was clean and comfortable. in fact this was the only place on our ten day Cape tour where I slept right through the both nights of our stay! Really a great place for a stopover or to take a tour of the town in Toekie the Tuk-Tuk with local guide Dirkie who has a good collection of local stories. Also visit Rico at the info centre. This is not a normal take it or leave it info centre.. Rico is a mine of information as well and can tell lots of stories about Uniondale.. Well done to all in Uniondale. A cean, neat town."

  "there was no adapter for the hairdrier and the reading lamps were very dull,they need to have brighter globes for reading purposes<br/><br/>Establishment Response: <br/><br/>Thank you for the constructive review.<br/><br/>The hair dryer had its dedicated adapter. Did not notice that it was no longer attached to the hair dryer. Will replace it and tie it to the hair dryer so that guests cannot remove the adapter again.<br/><br/>The prescribed lamp strength is 40W in order to prevent the lamp shade from burning. Will investigate the possibility of LED bulbs to increase the strength of the lights. <br/><br/>Kind regards,<br/><br/>Henriette"

  "In the words of Arnold Swarzenegger, "I'll be back"! Charming accommodation with good bed (important), full bathroom and all the other things you might need, including warm hospitality. The town, Uniondale, is a town on the up. Full of beautiful Victorian buildings and interesting stories, it's a place to spend more than a day, which is something I intend to do on my next trip."

  "We had a great stay at 7 at Grey B&amp;B. Henriette and her husband met us outside in the cold as we arrived a little later than we expected. They're a very friendly and helpful couple!<br /><br />The accommodation is very nice and has everything you'd need for short stays. They've paid nice attention to some of the detail and we've actually used one or two ideas from their place at our own place in Plett (https://www.safarinow.com/go/Typhoon-Terrace-Plettenberg-Bay-Self-Catering/).<br /><br />I can recommend 7 at Grey B&amp;B as a great value for money place to stay.<br />"

  "The first night was so good that we decided to stay another night in the spacious garden cottage. Breakfast isn't "served" - breakfast supplies are provided: croissants, bread, ham, cheese, butter, jam, yoghurt, cereals, rusks, even freshly baked flapjacks on the 2nd morning. The hosts were really friendly and helpful."

  "A super little cottage - immaculate. We sat on the stoep at sunset and watched so many rock pigeon coming to roost in the tall aloe trees. Young charming couple who were full of information. Their main business is growing aloes. They phoned us on our mobile to confirm time of arrival so our hostess met us. Highly recommended."

  "There are two grey streets in Uniondale. Look out for the supersave. Lovely flatlet separate from main house. Safe off street parking. Lovely big open plan living area comfortable bed. Neat clean and large bathroom. The Victorian bath a special treat. PS: pack some bubble bath.Breakfast continental and one may leave at leisure. Lovely stay."
