"It's an old building with very old fixtures and fittings. Really old furniture. Old wooden floors. Old wooden doors. It even smells "old". But, and a big but, it's all perfect! It's beautiful. It's stylish. It's neat and tidy. It's clean, and the staff from front to back, are friendly, polite, professional, and extremely helpful. Breakfast? Best "farmhouse breakfast" since grandpa fell off the bus! Well done Schulteheim Hotel."
"Very friendly reception and service overall. And the manager being the fourth generation of the family owning the hotel, so the stories about the development of the hotel, the town and area were astounding! Really worth it. We will definitely go visit again!"
"Food was very good, nice quit getaway place"
"When we arrived, we were greeted by Reghardt and we immediately felt welcome. He booked dinner for us at a lovely restaurant and he even took us there. Well done to this young man and thank you so much for the great stay we had, we will be back!!"
"We stayed the night after riding Karoo to Coast. We received a very friendly welcome and shown to our clean room. Our host had anticipated that we would be hungry and on his own initiative made a dinner reservation for us at the only restaurant in Uniondale open on Sunday evenings! The farmer's breakfast the next morning was excellent. We will definitely stay again if in Uniondale."
"The spacious room and cleanliness. The host took care of us in a very warm way. The staff was very friendly and eager to help with any queries we had."
"Very nice place to stay! Enjoyed the friendlypersonnel at thehotel. The Hotel has potential to become an excellent place to stay. Thanks to Regardt and the2 Sanna"s!"
"This hotel is going through a difficult time with the owner and the manager having had a misunderstanding. The owner closed the hotel for a week when the manager took leave over the Season and when we wanted to check in there was no staff and rooms had not been cleaned. The manager was just back from his leave and helped us settle in with amazing energy all on his own. That evening he cooked a fine dinner for us and the next morning made a hearty breakfast. He was most friendly and made our stay memorable. The hotel has much potential, but our room had no bedside tables or reading lights; the windows could not open, no towel rails; no toilet roll holder; no mirror in room; no dustbins; no pictures on walls; a view of the kitchen gas bottles and garbage cans. The manager deserves better support by the owner and he needs a full team of staff if the operation is going to be sustainable."
"Had a great stay at the Schultenheim. Highly recommended when overnighting in Uniondale."
"I was impressed with the friendliness of the proprieter, his willingness to help. The cleanliness of the rooms and the really good plentiful food."
