Driftsands Sea View Flats
Situated in Uvongo, the bustling holiday town,1.5 hours South of Durban, that has much to offer the visitor. Driftsands Sea View Flats are located 50 m from the sea, across the road from the Uvongo tidal pool. Uvongo bathing beach is a mere three minute walk away, and Uvongos business centre is only one block away, with supermarkets, a pharmacy, liquor store, public library, post office, petrol station, and several restaurants.
The basic, fully equipped, self-catering units are serviced daily, except on Sundays and public holidays, and covered parking for one vehicle is provided. Other facilities include a swimming pool, barbecue areas, and kiddies play area. NOT suitable for large groups or parties. No noise policy is enforced.
For active holiday-makers activities include bowling, tennis, squash, golf and mini golf, go-cart racing, surfing, rock fishing, ski boat fishing, bird watching, and whale watching. Two shopping centres are located in close proximity, as well as a bird park, a crocodile farm, and a game farm, all catering for a more relaxed holiday. The world famous Oribi Gorge and Nature Reserve and The Wild Coast Casino are also easily accessible by car.
