Laguna La Crete 173

Laguana La Crete 173 is situated in the welcoming town of Uvongo with secluded beaches, superb fishing sites, a nature reserve and beautiful scenery. Uvongo is named after the Ivungu River and is well-known for its waterfall that plummets 23 m down into the lagoon, creating one of the deepest lagoons in the country.

Laguna La Crete 173 is a self-catering unit that has an open-plan fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, fridge and automatic washing machine. The eating counter seats 4 and divides the kitchen from the spacious lounge. The TV is a SMART TV and is connected to DSTV with a FAMILY BOUQUET.

The lounge opens onto a covered balcony with sea view. A gas WOK/GRIDDLE Barbecue is available for private barbecues on the balcony. No open fires are allowed on the balcony, however, there are communal barbecue facilities available in the complex grounds, including at the swimming pool.

There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and hairdryer, while the second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom consists of a bath and shower. Linen is supplied including bath towels, however, please BRING swimming towels.

The complex has 24-hr security and the unit includes one under-cover parking (carport). The communal swimming pool also includes a children's pool and an undercover barbecue area. The complex also offers tennis court and laundry facilities and direct access to beach and fishing pier, via steps, for the more agile guest.

Many Shops and beaches are in close proximity to the complex.

Please note that Laguna 173 is NOT serviced daily, but should you require please ask owners. NO parties are allowed EVER and the complex has a strict anti-noise policy after 10pm.

The unit is on the second floor with a sea view from balcony and main bedroom.

"Had a stay at Laguna le crete 173 on the 17 and 18the Feb 2017.<br/>Firstly we arrived at 2.30 only to be told the keys are not there and Rieet only got the keys to us at 3.30,her excuse was she had to drive here from afar.<br/>We opened up the place and it smelt awfull.<br/>The couch smelt of urine which moira the owner sent an email back to me saying it's the cleaning liquid and not urine,linen was dirty,bugs on beds,dampness a major problem in bedrooms,the carpets were stained with dirt.water out taps in bathroom tub were yellowish..<br/>We spent most our time out the place as it wasn't good for our 3month infant.<br/>To me it was a waist of my time and money.<br/>Would have expected better as the place came recommended by safari.com.<br/>We left on the 19th and still non the owner or her assistant rieet come over to at least help sort the smell out.<br/>My wife had to buy air fresheners as we needed to sleep in th e flat.<br/>To top it off there was a lady that complained of the clothes rack being broken in 2016 and yes it's still broken laying on balcony.<br/>Definitely never book through safari again.<br/>Pool and Braai area was goood"

"The unit is unkept.Damp is severe and really a health hazard.The unit was dirty.The washline broken and lying in disrepair on the patio.The linen is old and stained.The unit needs to be painted.I am so disappointed with the attitude and follow up from Moira, the owner.I am afraid to book through Safarinow.com I shall not keep quiet about this experience.The owner was advised to tell me about water outages three days in advance.She did not.We arrived on a friday the 9th.We were advised that there was no water till the 11Dec.We went to the north coast for a night,at our expense.Owner told me to speak to the care taker of the unit about the cleanliness.She has avoided me.We feel ripped off.Owner takes all.Not satisfied at all.So sad that people pay hard earned money in full before arriving at a place that is not up to standard,with no recourse.A deposit should suffice until the client sees what they are paying for."

"We arrived on Friday at Laguna La Crete 173. Its very deceiving because the pictures on the internet is totally different to that of the place itself. We received 2 different invoices, one for Laguna La Crete 71 and one for 173. Our room had no sea view at all as the invoice stated that it would have a balcony and sea view. The room was full of ants and the lady had put ant powder all over the floors and we have a 9 month old baby, so that was very unsafe. The ants were all over in our clothes and we had to keep our luggage in our car boot. I am very unhappy as it was a very unpleasant weekend."
