Ukuthula Blissful Breakaways

Ukuthula is situated in part of the Hibiscus Coast in Uvongo. This is a welcoming town with secluded and unspoiled beaches, superb fishing spots, a nature reserve, beautiful scenery and so much more.

The house has three bedrooms; the main bedroom has a double bed and the other two bedrooms have twin beds. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a six-seater dining room table that leads into the lounge. The house boasts lovely views of the Indian Ocean and we are within a three-minute drive to the beach, all shops and restaurants.

Uvongo is known for its large rock escarpments with beautiful foliage which shelters the beach. These shimmering waters are ideal for all water sports. There are pedal boats for hire with which one can explore the river. Beside the river is a footpath which flows to the Uvongo River Nature Reserve. There is a lovely childrens paddling pool situated on the grassy banks shaded by trees. Bring that picnic basket full of snacks and enjoy a fun family outing.

"I love coming here. My grandchildren are always asking when we going again. Although we couldnt make it to the beach to tan the young guys still went fishing and loved it. Us girls went shopping and visited the quant flea market just around the corner. We lazed, played games & watched DSTV and spent wonderful quality family time. Booked again for first weekend in October. If you haven't been here, you are missing out."

"This lovely home has become our destination of choice for so many weekends. My grandchildren are calling it their grand family home. It's well equipped not on the beach but close enough. We went go carting in Margate swimming below the waterfall 5min away. Visited the flea market round the corner and shopped at Shelley Beach and South Coast Mall. Dined out all within 5 to 8 min away. I don't even look for other accommodation on the South Coast. HENK our host is such a warm hearted person. He is like family. If you haven't stayed at Ukuthula you have certainly missed out."

"The house is homely, very well equiped. It has an alarm installed so security is taken care of. The location is ideal. To the left a little more than 2 km from Shelley Beach with endless retail therapy opportunities. To the rite 5 km from Margate with its gorgeous swimming beaches and enchanting fine dining. Within 1,5km from the coastline ideal for fishing, discovering sea life amongst the rock pools and from the house varandah you can chillax with breathtaking sunsets & be greated in the morning by sunrays as the day dawns with silver shimmering water as the sun rises over the ocean. Do yourself a favour and experiance it for yourself. We've been before and will be back again. Loved our stay"
