"An isolated escape from the hustle of everyday life. Completely remote, Bushmans offers a complete recharge. Id recommend it to anyone who needs to get away from it all. We felt completely rested after the long weekend. The host family is warm and generous and the tents are luxurious and adequately equipped. The food is delicious and abundant."

"What an amazing place. My wife and I enjoyed four nights at Bushman's Hide. The website photos simply do not do justice to this beautiful and secluded location. A beautiful reception and dining room is reached through a winding entrance between the rocks, with a high thatched roof and exquisite decor. A spectacular deck area complete with pool and loungers, leading to the observation platform built on the highest point of the rocks overlooking the water hole where zebra, nyala, Cape Eland, warthogs and baboons regularly congregate. The observation deck is thatched and furnished with easy chairs for comfortable nature watching and a second dining table where we enjoyed fabulous meals cooked by Stef. He (and Henrick and Lisbeth) looked after us amazingly- nothing was too much trouble. The tent was superbly equipped and extremely comfortable. As well as the food and accommodation, other highlights were the bush walks around the camp which we took every day, the quad bike tour and the game drive on the neighbouring reserve. We were the only couple staying so we had everything to ourselves. Hard to believe Bushman's Hide is not permanently booked out. Thoroughly recommended for the peace and quiet, immaculate facilities, fabulous service and closeness to nature."

"Perfect place to go to for a weekend. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the stay. No cellphone reception was an added bonus. We will visit them again. Thank you for the great service."

"What a wonderful week end! Bushman's Hide is a real treat. It is a small, exclusive camp in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains without a sign of civilisation as far as the eye can see.The tented accommodation is very private and the decor beautiful! The camp itself is unique in that it is built in amongst huge rocks and boulders which adds to the bush experience and the views are spectacular. Our hosts were friendly and gracious. As for the cuisine ....hats of to the chef!! Bushman's Hide really does offer an exclusive escape for that special getaway."
