Palala Kingfisher Cottage

Palala Kingfisher Cottage is situated within a privately owned 3000ha game reserve within the Waterberg area in the Limpopo Province. Kingfisher Cottage can sleep up to 10 people.

The main house can sleep six people. It has a bathroom, a lounge area with a fire place, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with rockery, cutlery, a two-ring stove, a kettle and a toaster. All you need to bring is your own food, drinks and possibly ice. The two rondawels can each sleep two people and each rondawel has its own bathroom. Bath towels and bed linen will be provided.

Kingfisher also has a splash pool and a big braai area with a covered garage. Wood is available for purchase at R20 per bundle. Guided walks and game drives are available on request and are subject to availability due to Jembisa Lodge taking priority.

Come and stay here to escape to the peace and tranquillity of the bush. There is a wide diversity of game including leopard, hippo and crocodile. 7km of the beautiful Palala River winds through the middle of the reserve.

This malaria free reserve is only three hours from Johannesburg, is great for self-drive excursions and boasts abundant bird, giraffe, Burchells zebra, kudu, eland, impala, warthog, bush pig and much more.

Please not that 4x4 is not necessary to navigate the roads but a high clearance would be recommended.
