The dcor in the lodge has been acclaimed by all as being exceptional and unique. As far as the dcor is concerned, Shibula is a real lady in the bush.

Lace and crystal subtly blend with authentic African culture. The interior of Shibula gives one a classis ethnic feel. Decorated by Adila, each piece is handpicked and the special attention to detail has given Shibula its unique classic ethnic feel. Each chalet is individually furnished in a different style and each room has a dcor style, which reflects the name of the unit. There are eight chalets available.

Dine in a wine cellar, enjoy starlight boma dinners, with traditional potjiekos and other Gourmet dishes and be entertained by our resident Shibula singers and dancers. "Shibula was a wonderful retreat when the Klomp family owned it- we visited twice.Now it is very disappointing. The highlights were the waiters- friendly always, the ranger, Janie, very exceptional with kbnowledge of plants, trees, animals environment etc.....No maintenance, little managerable guidance and the food???The spa was as far as we are concerned non Operational."
