Get More Lodge is situated in Vanderkloof, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. Vanderkloof was founded in 1967 when the PK le Roux dam was build, now known as the Vanderkloof dam. The Vanderkloof dam is the second largest dam in SA and has the highest dam wall in SA at 108m. Our lodge consists of 18 rooms. We offer excellent conference facilities as well as a restaurant that can cater for up to 80 people. We have a licensed bar, table tennis, lounge with a TV, swimming pool, price winning garden and breathtaking view over the Vanderkloof dam. Vanderkloof is arguably the town with the lowest crime rate in South Africa and has been described as "real oasis in the Karoo".We have 3 types of rooms. Garden View Room (Overlooking the Garden, double bed, single bed with en-suite bathroom with cast iron bath, door way leading to inside corridor of main building and also door way leading out to main garden that overlooks the dam. TV with own Hotel Bouquet DSTV, free WiFi, Includes breakfast.) Business Rooms (Perfect for the business man or people who wants to relax but not spend so much time in their room. Double Bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, free WiFi, includes breakfast.)Budget/Overnight Rooms (Perfect for people who just wants to sleep. Double Bed, en-suite bathroom with shower (no door leading to bathroom), no DSTV but does have a TV in that one can connect your own decoder. Free WiFi. Does not include breakfast but breakfast can be arranged at reception or in restaurant.)NO PETS ALLOWED

    "We were not very happy. On the website it looks as if all the accomodation is on the same premises. We stayed in a house quite a distance from the lodge where the pool and restaurant was. The lodge is very nice, and patrons very friendly. But like I said, our accomodation was far from there. The house was also not well equipped, cleaning services either did not come in, or came in at 4 in the afternoon. The house was not well cleaned, towels and bedding very old. Place looked good when you walk in, that's all. I find we have paid far too much, for what we had. Luckily van der Kloof is a lovely little town, and we had lots of fun boating on the huge dam."
