  "ons het ons gate yt geniet ons die plek geniet daar was rerag alles wat ons nodig gehet dit , dit was werd vir geld en aan braam baie dankie vir ju gas vreiheid en ju dienste was gaaf van ju en groot baie dankie weer eens aan braam en vroutjie ons gevoel soos by di huis was rerag lekker ..... sal weer gaan"

  "Pak net jou klere en kos, die res is daar. Gerieflike plek met afsonderlike badkamers vir privaatheid, met groot braaikamer vir lekker gesellig verkeer. Sal beslis weer gaan kuier."

• "One of the best break away's in a long time"

  "Well on arrival we were met by a very friendly couple , Braam and Martie Veldman. They showed us the accomodation an we were surpriced how clean neat the place was. It is a very large place and all you need for a break away. Very central and walking distance to shops , resaurants and the Berg river. Lovely fishing spots a d awsome bird life. We enjoyed our stay and with Braam and his wife that were more than helpfull, we can certainly recommend this accomodation."

• "Beautiful place but it wasn't a private stay"

  "The house is cosy, very clean and there's everything you need. Johanna and Piet spent a lot of money in the house to make it worth your money. They even made it easy enough to purchase your wood for braai by the Manager which is convenient.My husband and I choose this place to have some privacy and some peace and quite, yet when we arrived at the place we were told what room to sleep in which i think we supposed to have and options of which room we wanted seeing that the house was a 8 sleeper and we were only 2 staying at the cottage, the rest of the house was off limits to us but just to find out the the last room in the house which we wanted was used by the manager! The Manager/Care taker's actual room in linked to the cottage so we could hear what was happening in his room another thing was that we could hear the washing machine which was under the carport and it was used by his wife. The following morning while my husband and I was watching TV the manager came inside and said his going to use the shower which totally disturbed us, we then contact Johanna and she apologised and said she will sort it out. The manager did approach me to apologise but yet made me feel like I was the one in the wrong to complain. We didn't have any issues after that. Hopefully this won't happen to anybody else but I think our time at the house was unpleasant due to the above factors otherwise it was good!"

  "We stayed for three night at Skilpadvlei and enjoyed the accommodation. The reception and support by Braam was excellent. You cant find this type of accommodation at this rate anywhere along this region (hope you keep it that way..). See you again soon"

  "Dit was 'n wonderlike huis om in te bly! Die kamers en badkamers is groot genoeg en het lekker spasie. Die kombuis is great toegerus. Die braaiers en Jacuzzi was deur almal gebruik. Die staff is baie behulpsaam en vriendelik en het ons werklik dit baie geniet! It is a wonderful house to stay at! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The braais and Jacuzzi were used and enjoyed by all. The staff are very helpful and friendly and ensured we really enjoyed our stay."
