  "Basic farm stay, a bit of a disappointment if reality is compared to what you receive to get from the photo's posted. In hindsight think it is overpriced compared to other accommodation utilised in SA at the same time. Huge problem with stench and flies from neighboring property, degrading the value of the actual stay. I fully understand that the owners have no control over what happens on their neighbor's side of the fence, and they did everything possible to try and manage the fly's and the stench were beyond their control. This problem should be addressed urgently, travelling half way around the world one does not appreciate being exposed to something like this."

  "Baie teleurgestel. Die indruk wat jy op die webtuiste kry en wat dit werklik is, is nie dieselfde nie. Dit is nie n plek om te ontspan nie, net om te slaap. Ons huis wat naby die beeskraal...baie vlee. Was wel skoon maar verwaarloos. Was nie tevrede en het nie daar geslaap alhoewel ons steeds betaal het."

  "The rooms were clean and the hosts are very friendly indeed and gave us a lovely tour off the mines and strawberries from there garden. The swim in the pool helped keep the body temperature down as well as it was very hot. We are thinking off taking the rest of our family there for a break as well."

  "We chose the place for the pony drinking the pool's water, but we ended up finding much more than a fun picture. Our hosts were very nice and welcoming, we had a nice conversation and ate soup, it was an interesting and cool evening. On the morning, we went jogging on the dirt-road, the landscapes were gorgeous and we really felt the countryside. I tried swimming in the pool when we got back but it was the end of August - freezing! I'd definitely recommend this place."

  "The Dome Lodge is nice for getting away for a few days. We only slept there and entertained ourselves with river rafting, mountain biking and running in the dome area. It matched our expectations."

  "Very enjoyable stay, place was very clean and neat and a nice quiet stay for those who want to get away from it all and just relax, and the farm-animal sounds made a nice change to the normal intown traffic noises, and the owners (Janice and Rob) was very nice/friendly/helpful."
