Maanskynhuis is a spacious modern house nestled at the foot of the Klein River mountain range. The self-catering accommodation offers modern facilities and can comfortably sleep up to 15 people. The house offers upmarket furniture, state of the art security and exceptional view.
The double-storey house has seven bedrooms, of which three have en-suite bathrooms. The upstairs level features a fully equipped kitchen which opens onto two patios. The north facing patio area has a built in braai and patio furniture. This level also features a spacious living room with a flat-screen TV with full DStv. The formal dining room has a table seating 12 next to the bio-fire fireplace.
Downstairs is a large reception lounge and games room. The games room has a pool table and leads out onto the outside pool area. The pool area features a Jacuzzi, swimming pool and cocktail bar. The house also has a gymnasium for the fitness fanatics, equipped with a punching bag and weight training equipment.
There is safe off-street parking for guest vehicles but no garage. The property has an alarm and camera surveillance system. Strictly no smoking is permitted in the house.

"Disappointing"
30 June 2014"We arrived on Friday to find the electricity faulty. We couldn't have lights and plugs on at the same time. The Jacuzzi was freezing cold and the power tripped when we tried to run it. We couldn't cook supper on Friday night as the oven didn't due to the continuous power failures.The house was also freezing as we couldn't run the under floor heating. In the lounge is a huge fireplace but the caretaker told us that we weren't allowed to use that as the flue was blocked.The electrician that was called told us that the house has this problem every weekend when people arrive. We found that we needed to only use a few plugs at a time. Determined to use the Jacuzzi, we boiled pots of water on the gas stove and eventually got that heated so that we could use the Jacuzzi Saturday evening. We wanted to use the Jacuzzi again on Sunday morning before we left but the caretaker had emptied it before 8am. The caretaker lives on the property and doesn't make himself scarce. He was in and out of the house often. It felt like we had no privacy at all.I will never stay here again."
