• "Unpleasant"

    05 May 2017

"I did not enjoy my stay at Ouhout.
1. There was no hot water in the room I slept in, I had to go bath in the room by the gate which was very inconvenient.
2. The water came out very slowly.
3. The bed I slept on was in a very bad condition - the base and the mattress - it made excessive heavy noise throughout the night and the pillows smelt of tobacco. I had to spray them continuously."

  • "Absolute rubbish place"

    01 April 2017

"It's more like a bar place. They said its bed and breakfast and they collected R700 but when it's time for breakfast,u have to pay extra for it. Poor reception, no hanger and/or cupboard to hang clothes. It's NO go Area! Absolute rubbish!"

  • "Disappointed"

    14 November 2016

"Ouhout is not quite as advertised. There is no double bed as advertised on Safari and the single beds are not that comfortable. The room and bedding was very clean."

  • "Its Cold in the Free State in August"

    10 August 2016

"The flat was clean and good value for money albeit a bit cold and draughty. Place was advertised as one room with double bed and one with 2 x singles, but both rooms had single beds, so it was impossible in one room to plug in electric blankets to the single socket. Quite a few lights did not work, so place was also rather dark.
There was some confusion if breakfast was included or not (being advertised as a B&B we summed it was), and it was only eventually served from 9.15 which delayed our start the next morning.
Pizza's in the restaurant were excellent as always and bar staff were very friendly."
