Voorsorg Guest House & Cottages

Voorsorg Guest House is located on a wine farm, 1 km from central Vredendal. It offers guests a choice of lovely en-suite units or cottages.

Comfortably furnished for two guests each, the en-suite units offer single, double or queen-size beds and have either a bath or a shower en-suite. One of the rooms also has a small lounge area. The cottages have one-, two- or three bedrooms and all of them have private bathrooms with a shower or a bath and a shower. The cottages offer comfortable single, queen-size or king-size beds. They are equipped with TVs, air-conditioning, kitchens and braai facilities. Guests can enjoy scrumptious breakfasts in the dining room, relax by the swimming pool or do some wine tasting as the farm produces its own wine.

Vredendal is the ideal base from which to explore Namaqualand, the Cape West Coast and the Cederberg Mountains. It is located on the Olifants River Wine Route and the Matzikama Eco-Park offers some fantastic botanical and community gardens, a bird aviary, hiking trails, bird hides and an eco-centre overlooking the Gifberg Mountain. When visiting at the end of October, guests can partake in the annual Rittelfees and in the spring, enjoy the amazing sight of the mountains as they change into a tapestry of beautiful colours.

Exceptional reception with cold beer in the fridge after a long days travel. very comfortable bed with a nice surprise on the view the next morning when you woke up. The price is also very affordable and included the breakfast."

"We stopped here for the night on our way up to Namibia, and this was a delightful spot to stay the night. Louise immediately greeted us warmly and showed us to our lovely little cottage, offered us a bottle of wine to enjoy our evening with and cooked us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. A lovely little getaway that was made well worth it by the hosts. Highly recommended!"
