Olive's Place
Olives Place is a lovely guest house situated in the historic town of Vryburg. The local Spar is just a short walk away and the guest house has a view of the golf course, which is located on the opposite corner.
Guests have a choice of staying in three lovely bedrooms that are furnished with comfortable double or queen-size beds and TVs. The rooms are air-conditioned for comfort and have en-suite bathrooms that consist of a bath or shower, or both. Breakfast is available on request and a coffee and gift shop is located on the premises.
Various attractions such as a concentration camp cemetery, the Leon Taljaard Nature Reserve and rock engravings at Kinderdam, between Vryburg and Madibogo, can also be seen.

"Low budget accommodation"
02 January 2015"Given that the accommodation was not very expensive, do not expect anything fancy. Although the room appeared clean, there was an bold musty smell. Safety was a concern as there was a piece of wood that was nailed on the front door to keep the door from opening - it did not look very secure and could easily be open. The security door outside the wooden door did not lock. No soap, shampoo, or shower gel are provided, however, one cannot penalize the accommodation for this given that it is very low budget."

16 August 2013"We found Erika & staff to be very welcoming and warm. They made a concerted effort to accommodate us. Although hot breakfasts are not the norm, Olive's Place went out of their way to do a very nice hot breakfast. The establishment is still new, but given an opportunity and some time, they will make a mark on the map. Thank you!"

"Issue after issue"
14 February 2013"My room was not ready when I wanted to check in. When I wanted to pay the balance, the owner did not know how it works, she suggested I pay the balance with SafariNow. Please let me know if I can pay the balance to you and if you will be able to issue me with an invoice. I left my room at 19h30 to buy food and on my return she had 2 men in my room to remove the 2 single beds to accommodate them for the night. They were in and out of my room for more than 15 minutes to take out the beds while I had to sit on my bed watching them and waiting for them to leave before I could eat. I will not stay there again."
