Surrounded by old trees, the guest house provides safe, secure parking facilities available in five lock-up garages.
The town of Vryheid derived its name from the Afrikaans word for freedom. It lies northeast of the town of Dundee in Zululand as well as the site of one of the more notorious battles along the Battlefields Route; the battle of Blood River.
"We love this place with it's lovely views, garden, pool etc and the quiet surroundings. Traveling the dodgy part of the town towards the guest house is the only down evaluation but they can not do any thing about it's in theory "unfair" remark but the on site garages for safe parking make up for it."
"We stayed over at Bishops Guest House in July for 2 nights and were very pleased with the clean, attractive, well equipped self catering apartments.Lisa is a friendly, efficient hostess and made us feel welcome from the start. We will definitely stay no where else but there when again visiting Vryheid."
