Lancaster Lodge

Nestled against Vryheid Mountain, Lancaster Lodge is a hideaway bed and breakfast where guests are treated to nature at its best. If you are looking for a top-quality, family-run B&B with lots of character and excellent breakfasts, Lancaster Lodge is the place for you.

Guests have a choice of staying in the Dolerite Suite, the Ou Klip Suite, the Sandstone Suite, the Quarterzite Suite or two basic Fossilwood Cabins. All four suites are equipped with heaters, TVs with DStv, bar fridges, Internet access and tea and coffee facilities. The bedrooms are furnished with either two single beds, a double bed or a queen-size bed. The Dolerite Suite, Ou Klip Suite and Quarterzite Suite have en-suite bathrooms while the Sandstone Suite has a separate private bathroom. The Fossilwood Cabins are furnished with two single beds each and they share the use of separate womens and mens bathrooms with showers and toilets. Tea and coffee facilities are available.

The lodge offers the ideal setting for weddings, conferences and other functions and the bistro is ideal for smaller functions and business meetings. The hall is permanently draped with white organza and fairy lights; combined with a contemporary bar area and well-equipped kitchen creates the ideal venue. Located just 2 km from Vryheid, it is easy to take care of business and still enjoy the peace and tranquility.
