"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Shonalanga. The reception we received on our arrival was out of this world, the lady there is so helpful and friendly. We had a pleasure of being the first ones to be accommodated in a recently renovated room. The dining area is clean and also staff serving breakfast were also friendly. Would recommend the place to my friends and family. Looking forward to coming back with my kids. Thanks, Mrs N Zulu"

"It was the first time I was in Vryheid on business and chose to stay at Shonalanga Lodge. I received a friendly greeting at reception, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would certainly recommend and stay there again. Also reasonably priced in comparison to some other B&Bs in Vryheid."

"Shonalanga is a good looking lodge and I stayed very well. I suggest that they have something to prevent mosquitos, I was eaten by mosquitos the whole night and I woke up with a swollen feet and had blisters on my arms due to this problem. The room was packed with mosquitos and I was shocked."

"Please teach your cleaning ladies to clean the bathroom doors. It is really not clean and not a pleasure touching the door to open and close. Your curtains also need a wash."
