Villa Beryl Guesthouse

Villa Beryl Guesthouse is one of Vryheids old surviving classic South African homes, with its sandstone foundations, Oregon-pine floors, high ceilings and wide verandas.The guesthouse consists of 11 en-suite double rooms and five self catering rooms. All the bedrooms are fitted with bar fridges, tea and coffee facilities, flat-screen TVs with DStv and air-conditioning. There is secure under-cover parking on the property.English and Continental breakfasts are served in the dining area, and dinner is served on request. The guest house hosts conferences of up to 30 people, and welcomes anyone who would like to use our facilities for photo opportunities such as wedding or matric farewell photos.

"We spent the week-end in Vryheid as we attended the Vintage Car Show. Villa Beryl Guest House is one of the best places I've stayed, we loved the room with all its amenities and little extra's like real milk for your coffee, biscuits & sherry. Breakfast was delicious. The gardens are immaculate. If I have to visit Vryheid again I will definitely not look further than Villa Beryl."

"On our way to Vryheid, Elzanne contacted us to enquire our estimated time of arrival. It would have been after dinner time, which we booked for, but this was no problem to her. On arrival we were served with dinner, which was a good home cooked meal, which was lovely. Our room and bathroom was the size of a ball room and was absolutely perfect. Everything was of the best quality. Breakfast was very nice. Hospitality at its best."
