Each unit has its own private entrance. Every room has an en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with M-Net and a bar fridge. "Sir Roy's in Walmer is a lovely place, however I wouldn't rate it a four star guest house. The staff were lovely and welcoming but the place itself is very old. They still use separate hot and cold water faucets which resulted in scalding on a few occasions. There was no bath in our room, which is challenging when you have babies. Another place we stayed at before this one was about R50 more expensive but was a lot more modern and well-kept. It was a comfortable stay and the breakfast was fine, but again not 4 star so if you're looking for 4 star, perhaps this isn't the right place."

"We stayed during 3 nights with two kids in Sir Roys Guest House in Walmer, a residential suburb of Port Elisabeth. The garden with swimming pool was a perfect setting for a few days of relaxation near the seaside. Excellent breakfast. Good location for visiting Addo National Park or beaches in the neighbourhood."
