Irie Lodge

Located just 700 m from the beach with a 180 degree sea views, Irie Lodge offers its guests varied accommodation options and lovely facilities to enjoy the relaxed style of beachside living.

Guests have several options which include dormitories, self-catering units and Campsites; whatever your budget or needs, you're bound to find what you require. The units come fully furnished for a comfortable stay. Guests can make use of the extra-large sun deck; a sweet place for wave meditations. A splash pools is also available to help you cool down during the summer months. A cosy braai area is provided for your use and if you're keen on cooking your own meals, the communal kitchen is available.

Plant your pack and then head to the beach. Go say hello to the dolphins, have an ocean flotation session or go snorkelling. Contemplate the swell and when it peaks, grab your board and show those waves who the boss is.

    "My gals and I were not happy. When we arrived we were almost assigned another shady room and not the one I booked.. dont know why nel thougth we deserved it. The beds are hard as rock.. I was not informed of the construction workers who were staying there and they made the stay uncomfortable as we were ladies only.. we did not appreciate nels tone and choice of words...reffering to people who make noise as "hooligans" it was not as advertised on the net and I wouldnt go back"

    "The most substandard lodge I have ever stayed in. The most dirty, small, uncomfortable, over price and unethical place I ever come across. My wife and family couldn't stay longer that 2 nights in that place. If you look at the photos on the web, the real thing it a totally different. I had to share a kitchen with a contractor who took what he wanted and left the place so unclean. Cant believe you can book contractors and holiday groups in to one lodge. Very unprofessional.     "You don't get what they display ~ very, very bad accommodation. Surely not to recommend at all. Rediculous price for a dirty 8-bunker cabin, not-to-clean bedding. The toilet/shower facilities sheared by 11 people also dirty to filthy ~ not hygienic and got athletic feet. The-agent-promise-and-the-owner-deny-principles. No thank you ~ never again!Not worth a 1/2 star"

    "I have book the family room with en-suite bathroom, what did i get 1 room with a double bed and 1 room with a bunker bed with matresses on that you could'nt sleep on, so hard and hollow and with no en-suite bathroom. it was really horrible luckily only for 1 night. For R720 we could rent a flat. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

    "It was a terrible stay I ever experienced. Parking was a chaos, rooms were not like I saw them on internet and they were unsecured and there was a noise throughout the night. We even cut our days and for accommodation somewhere else."
