El Shaddai offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in the quiet town of Welkom. Situated within a quiet residential area, it is just a short drive from the town centre.
El Shaddai consists of three spacious suites, each equipped with a microwave, fridge and a TV. Each suite is individually decorated and has a private entrance. The suites all have a comfortable seating area and a dining area. Bedding and towels are provided.
There is ample safe parking, laundry facilities, swimming pool and braai facilities onsite.
Things to do Oppenheimer Park Golf Course and Game Shopping Centre.

31 May 2016"This facility is not up to standard and should not be listed at that price for "self-catering."<div>Major irritations:<div><ul> <li>No dish washing-up facilities at all (ie. basin, cloths, racks).</li> <li>No cooking implements.</li> <li>4 bed suite with crockery and cutlery for 3.</li> <li>No heaters in room (esp. in FS winter). Room very cold.</li> <li>Bathroom has flimsy curtain separating it from room - no privacy.</li> <li>Geyser ran out of hot water after a single short shower.</li> <li>Beds did not have very warm covers.</li></ul>Minor irritations:</div><div><ul> <li>Noisy neighbours at night.</li> <li>Wardrobe cupboard was dilapidated.</li> <li>High-level window did not have curtains, could not darken room at night.</li></ul></div></div>"

I travel extensively on business and this must rate as the worst guesthouse that I have stayed in. no bedside lamps were working, the neighbours were noisy and used the driveway adjacent to my room as their chosen spot to have a party until quite late. no security on my glass sliding door in a part of town that is not great.there was also a musty smell in the room that was unpleasant. friendly host but accommodation needs work."
