  "Our stay at Blouvlei was short but peaceful. I was however under the impression that it was self catering. The room was lovely but did not have a kitchen area with a microwave like in the picture I viewed online. Not sure if this is up to the owner to see to or Safari now? Being from Cape Town the shower with awesome hot water was highly appreciated. Even though the room was very beautiful and the air conditioning was highly appreciated, the bathroom area was completely open - so no privacy for showering or going to the loo. The room we were placed in would have been much better suited to a single occupant. Otherwise all ok, thanks!"

  "Suzlena het ons dadelik tuis laat voel met haar vriendelike verwelkoming. Ek het genoem dat dit ons huweliksherdenking was en ons het 'n pragtige kamer met kreatiewe moeite gekry. Die belangrikste is dat die kamers baie skoon, netjies en warm was. Ons sal verseker weer daar gaan bly."

  "Biggest gripe is there is no privacy - the bathroom in the self-catering unit is open to the bedroom. Just a low dividing wall separates the bathroom from the bedroom. We did not expect this as there is nothing on the website that warns you. The furnishings are old and the "carpet" worn and stained. Three of the four lights in the kitchen did not work - well, one sort of did: it flickered on and off randomly. Positive points: the unit is spacious and it has a nice view from the balcony. Fairly clean and okay bed and linen. I think we could have done a lot better on one of the wine farms, where we consider staying next time we are in the area."

  "We stayed at Blouvlei B&B over the weekend, and had a wonderful stay in the two-person self-catering unit. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. It is easy to find, and is set in beautiful gardens with a lovely salt water pool. Highly recommended and good value for money!"

  "Homely atmosphere, super-clean, well-equipped flatlet and within easy walking distance of the sights and shops of Wellington. If you need to be central in Wellington, love a lush, peaceful garden and a splash in a pool - this is perfect for you. The lounge has TV and Aircon, so you can relax after sightseeing.I really appreciated the rate - I stayed as a single traveller for one night before my husband arrived and they charged me a half rate - which I think is rare. Being in the centre of a sometimes bustling town, there is a touch of traffic noise and some sounds of the area around - but all good and a lovely, comfortable stay. Thank you!"

  "We got a fully equipped apartment downstairs. The apartment upstairs is light and nice, but we preferred the garden and braai nearby. Driving out with the car is difficult and very dangerous. The garden and pool are very nice and we got a lot of attention from Goliath, the sweet danish dog. The maid was very nice and helpful. Sadly, when we left on Sunday, there was nobody."

  "The owners were very friendly and kind. I would definitely go and stay there again.We only had a problem with the fact that there were no additional blankets in the room.There was only one normal duvet on each bed and since it's the start of winter, it was quite cold.Other than that it was a nice experience."

  "My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her stay. We needed to find accommodation for her while she worked in the area. She is a student and doesn't know the area at all. Coming from small city she was extremely nervous, but quickly felt at home and safe especially when she found that the dog took it upon himself to lie outside her door at night and "look" after her. Thank you so much for your friendly, clean, homely and affordable accommodation."
