"Incredible hosts! Fantastic breakfast. Stefan and Nikki made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them; made our restaurant booking and provided storage for my mountain bike. Our room was clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We will certainly come back to stay again. Also looking forward to theirwine-making exploits."

Stephan is a fantastic cook and Niki isa gracious host, they were very accommodating towards us and even gave us abottle of wine as we were there on honeymoon. "Our stay was very nice. Stefan & Nicolene have been very friendly hosts. The rooms have been terrific.The highlight was the breakfast. Although we have been the only guest, Stefan displayed a menue card and even present a "special". This was blueberry pancake! We surely will return when we will be once again in Hermanus!"

"Really and truly outstanding. Stefan went above and beyond the call of duty. Myself and my wife are both vegetarian and gluten intolerant. We have become accustomed to providing for ourselves, or merely getting a breakfast 'without the good bits'. Stefan rose to the challenge and baked the most delicious gluten free bread for both days of our visit. Our first breakfast was a delicious vegetarian omelette, and for the second day gluten free blueberry pancakes. I have rarely experienced the level of service we enjoyed at the Penguino. Thank you Stefan and Nikki."

"We recently spent two nights with our children at Penguino. We first received a very friendly welcome. The rooms were immaculate, well fitted and very spacious. Nikky and Steph have shown to be excellent hosts, given us a whole lot of very good advice and all the assistance we could have dreamed off. Cherry on the cake, Steph being a chef by trade, the breakfasts are to die for."
