Kings Cottage is ideally situated to explore the many local attractions, and well positioned for quick access to the N3 and M13 freeways, and King Shaka International Airport 30 minutes away. The cottage combines comfort and convenience being only 2.5 km from the Pavilion shopping centre and Westville Hospital, and 10km from the International Convention Centre, Durban's beach front and sports stadiam.

As the cottage is away from the main house, privacy is ensured. The open plan layout is air conditioned and comprised of the bedroom area with optional king-size or twin beds opening into a lounge with DStv and MNet. French doors lead from the lounge onto a private covered patio area, ideal for al fresco meals. A fully equipped kitchen alcove and an en suite with shower completes this fresh and modern facility. Parking is provided within metres of the cottage within the fully fenced, gated property. The facility is ADSL & Wi-Fi enabled

Whilst the kitchenette is equipped for self-catering, a self-serve breakfast is offered by arrangement. A braai facility is available and there is an abundance of restaurants in very close proximity to the cottage.
The cottage has a no smoking policy - there is a private patio area for this purpose.
